You have been out here tagging and identifying trees. What has that process been like for you?

"It was definitely a learning curve. When I got here, you see a dichotomous key and it's kind of daunting. There's 40, 50 different types of trees that you think you have to identify. But as you keep on going, you realize most of the trees are repeated and you get to know the big characteristics of the main trees. It becomes easier. So as of right now, it's not nearly as scary as it was at first.

When I look at normal trees now, there are things that I notice; it's just second nature."
